UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE, UK


The University of Hertfordshire was awarded university status in 1992. It had already established a high profile as Hatfield Polytechnic since 1969, with a 50 year tradition of education on the Hatfield site since the first Technical College opened in 1952.

Location
Hatfield Campus The Hatfield Campus is easily reached by road or rail. It is situated at junction 3 of the A1(M), two kilometres from Hatfield station, with University and public bus services or taxis available to connect the campus and station.

Hertford Campus The Hertford campus is a short walk from Hertford town centre, and about two and a half kilometres from Hertford North station. Public bus services or taxis are available to connect the campus and the station.

St Albans Campus The St Albans Campus has a central location at the heart of the Cathedral City. The University's main Hatfield campus, stations and surrounding towns are easily reached by University and public bus services and the M25 is close by.

Watford Campus The Watford Campus is near junction 5 of the M1. It is approximately three and a half kilometres from Watford town centre and a short walk from the village of Aldenham. University and public bus services or taxis are available to connect the campus and Watford Junction and Radlett station.

The Business School
The Business School is one of the largest schools in the University with almost 3000 students. The School has over 300 international students from around 50 countries, which gives the campus an international atmosphere. It has also many links internationally with UH courses being offered at partner institutions in five countries (Canada, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Malaysia) and exchange partnerships with over thirty universities and business schools in Europe and North America.
