This year INTI College Sarawak together with See Hua Group organized a Run For Charity 2007 on Sunday, the 28th of October, 2008 and the event was a success.

More than 200 people, from school children to senior citizens, ignored raining conditions to take part in the “Run For Charity 2007”jogathon at Civic Centre, Kuching.

The main aim in organizing this inaugural jogathon “Run For Charity” is to create and encourage the public to lead healthy and active lifestyles. The proceeds from this jogathon will be donated to the Sarawak Heart Foundation. Over the years, the Sarawak Heart Foundation has become the beacon of hope for many who need assistance to manage various heart conditions.

According to the organizing chairman, Matthew Wee, “such activities promotes interaction among peers and family, and this was a positive way of enhancing their way of life — physically and mentally. Also charity should begins at home - our home in this community we love, and our family is all the people in it.

Participants gathered at the Kuching Civic Centre as early as 6.00am before the race was flagged off by INTI College Sarawak CEO, Mr. William Tan and Ms Phyllis Wong, the General Operations Manager of See Hua Group.

Winners of the jogathon received hampers, gift certificates and medals through the sponsors spirit of giving and loving.
