Introduction

INTI College Sarawak Career Services & Job Placement Department provides the resources and strategies for teaching employability skills seminars, developing career plans, creating a resume, finding internships and full-time jobs, contacting alumni, and making successful career transitions.

We'll help you decide on the job, training or career path that's right for you, with information and support at any age or stage of your life.

The Career Services Center has been established to provide job-related services, as listed below, to the students and alumni of INTI College Sarawak and to recruiting companies in relevant industries.

Services to Students

• Secures industrial training placements for students who have to undergo industrial training as part of their course requirements
• Organizes and conducts pre-industrial training seminars for students to prepare them for their industrial training and to help them see it as a very important strategic first step towards their eventual job search
• Organizes Career Talks by members of different professions for students to enable them to have a clearer idea about the profession they are preparing to join
• Organizes and conducts Career Workshops for graduating students on resume writing, interview preparation and interview techniques, job search strategies, and strategies to ensure success in their new job
• Notifies new graduates of job openings when contacted by companies and arranges interviews for them
• Posts job vacancies in the Center’s website and on the College’s physical notice board for the information of students

Services to Alumni

• Develops and maintains a website for alumni to get in touch with each other through the Alumni Directory
• Posts job vacancies in the Center’s website for the information of alumni
• Organizes training workshops, seminars and talks for alumni, in collaboration with the INTI Alumni Association (INTISAA), to assist them in their career development
• Publishes the Alumni Newsletter to publicize news about alumni and about INTI College Sarawak
• Organizes social and charitable functions, events and activities for alumni in collaboration with INTISAA

Services to Companies

• Provides companies with the facility to advertise their vacancies in our website
• Selects graduating students for companies to interview when they request for candidates
• Provides the opportunity for companies to give feedback about the skills and knowledge of our students, either those on industrial training or those they have recruited
• Establishes partnerships with certain companies that wish to have a steady supply of suitable human resource from INTI College Sarawak
• Organizes job fairs for companies who wish to interview our students before their final examinations
