CORONATION PICTURES

Africans are known for their intrinsic quality of showing gratitude and Appreciation for any favor received. The History of African students in Sarawak started when the first batch of twelve Nigerian students arrived on the shores of this fair city, Kuching. In a sense, it was a voyage of discovery, as none of us had previously traveled to this part of south East Asia. We were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the staff of the college and the local populace. We were touched and continue to be touched by the Sarawakian hospitality. The Management of this noble college have really contributed in one way or the other to make us feel at home. in appreciation of these kindness shown to us by the management and staff of INTI College Sarawak we saw the need to express our gratitude to the college. To this, the ASA  Exco conferred on Mr. Tan the chieftaincy title of  "EKWUEME 1", which means "The Man of his words ", to stand on ovation from the audience. The touching ceremony was followed by the distribution of awards to the senior management of the college, who were also responsible for making it a conducive place of study for student, especially those from Africa.
